Since 2017, design studio TM (Tsevdos McNeil) have collaborated with paper specialists Fedrigoni on the publication of a large scale collaboration that invites the UK creative community to design and interpret a date of the year. For this leap year, Fedrigoni 366 was produced using the latest HP Indigo® digital print technology - allowing a whopping 731 designers to harness the power of generative design, with single design looking different in each and every book produced. That’s over 2 million unique and colourful designs. I spent three months working with TM and was lucky to gain behind the scenes insight into the process - from layouts, printing and binding, to event organising, hosting a 2 day exhibition (and sticking over 700 pieces of paper to the walls!). I also participated as a designer - my work is featured on 16 Nov.
